Lynda is a Union Township native, graduating from Union Area High School. She attended Westminster College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and minor in Secondary Education.
She began her work career at First Federal Savings Bank of New Castle which is now Huntington Bank. Lynda worked in various positions at the bank for 30 years. Her most recent position was Vice-President/Business Banking. As a Business Banker, she worked with multi-million-dollar companies in the Lawrence County, Mercer County, Pittsburgh, and Eastern Ohio areas serving all their financial needs including loans, deposits, and account management resources.
In September 2017, Lynda joined the Lawrence County School to Work team as director. The work she did with businesses in banking as well as her education background brings a wide perspective to the program.
Lynda is a member of the Union Township Lions Club, Union Area Academic Advocates, United Way Budget & Allocations Committee Chairperson, and a past board member of the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce and Lawrence County YMCA.
